are the reason I feel so lucky. A simple walk across the farm yard to say "hello" to my farm boy. I know it sounds quite chummy, but I really could not imagine life away from the farm. We thoroughly enjoy living where simple moments are BIG things :)

Days like these...

Meet Ms Rhen James...

On January 12th, 2011 our baby girl arrived into this world. Words could never describe the anticipation of meeting this new spirit. Ben and I had stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cedar Cedar the previous night. We knew the following day we were going to finally meet Rhen, and I could not sleep for nothing. First, I must share how frustrated I was to find out that our room had no bathtub...WHAT!?! I was ticked and the poor lady at the front desk knew it :) I settled for an ice cold pop and some soduku while Ben caught got some rest. Between my GINORMOUS belly, noise from the adjoining room, and nerves, I had given up on sleep. Not sure why I was nervous, I mean this was my fourth time and I should be a pro by now right...wrong!! I think I was more nervous than ever before. Perhaps I thought that my enormous strength and super fit body were not ready for this lol We got to the hospital at 7 am and they started the process. I met my nurse and I LOVED her! Things got under way and at approximately 3 pm Dr. Sanders broke my water. I went from a 6 to a 10 in less than 15 minutes and with three super, amazing, rockstar pushes, Rhen was here. WOW...I am a mother of four children! I still can't believe it! I have come to know that I will not do everything right and my home will not always or possibly never be spotless, but I will give this everything I have. I want to enjoy the journey NOW.
